Over the weekend, Peugeot owners gathered for a unique event aimed at promoting road safety and enhancing their driving experience. Organized by the Peugeot Owners Club in collaboration with AA Kenya, the event featured informative sessions, vehicle diagnostics, and social activities.
Maina Njogu, a leader in the Peugeot Owners Club, emphasized the importance of the event, stating, “Today, we’re here with AA Kenya to gain valuable knowledge about road safety and better understand our Peugeot vehicles.”
Beyond the educational aspects, the event provided a platform for Peugeot owners to connect, share experiences, and learn about new additions to the club. Peugeot owners from across Nairobi attended, showcasing a diverse range of models from hatchbacks to SUVs.
The event offered a comprehensive program, including road safety awareness sessions, good driving habits demonstrations, and a Peugeot auto clinic where AA technicians provided vehicle diagnostics and maintenance services.
Peugeot cars, once a familiar sight on Kenyan roads, have seen a resurgence in popularity in recent years. Their stylish designs, powerful engines, and fuel efficiency have made them a sought-after choice among Kenyan motorists.
As a result of their partnership, Peugeot Owners Club members will enjoy towing, recovery, and 24-hour roadside assistance from AA Kenya at a discounted member rate, providing peace of mind on the road. This exciting initiative, spearheaded by Daniel Kiprono of AA Kenya and Peugeot leaders Maina and Cynthia, aims to enhance the driving experience for Peugeot club members while promoting road safety.

Several other organizations participated, including Zen Cars who offered guidance on vehicle sales and importation, PRG Motors for vehicle sales and House of Dentistry that offered free dental check-ups to drivers.
The Peugeot Owners Club and AA Kenya’s collaboration highlights the potential of motoring clubs to play a significant role in promoting road safety. By targeting driving communities with tailored campaigns, these clubs can foster a sense of ownership and responsibility among their members.
