The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) has lowered the maximum pump prices for Super Petrol, Diesel, and Kerosene for the period April-May 2025.
Super Petrol will now cost KShs.1.95 less per litre, Diesel drops by KShs.2.20, while Kerosene sees the biggest cut at KShs.2.40 per litre.
In Nairobi, Super Petrol will now retail at KShs.174.63 per litre, Diesel at KShs.164.86, and Kerosene at KShs.148.99.
In Mombasa, Super Petrol will retail at Kshs.171.39, Diesel at 161.62 and Kerosene at Kshs 145.75
In Kisumu, Super Petrol will retail at KShs.174.67, Diesel KShs.165.24, and Kerosene KShs.149.42 per litre.
The prices are inclusive of the 16% VAT in line with the provisions of the Finance Act 2023, the Tax Laws (Amendment) Act 2020 & the revised rates for excise duty adjusted for inflation as per Legal Notice No. 194 of 2020,” read the statement by EPRA.
